Russell Rosario John LoPiccolo

 "Rosario" Russell LoPiccolo was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Basile); loving father of Mark (Kimberly) and Lauren LoPiccolo; dear grandfather of Alan Amici, Danielle and Jaco LoPiccolo; brother-in-law to Rose Basile and Eileen LoPiccolo; and fond uncle of Christopher (Micheline) and John (Kim) Basile.

Rosario was a member of the St. Barbara Board of Jurisdiction for many years.  He participated in school events, interacting with  and encouraging students of all grade levels to do their best. Whether setting up for an art show or participation at the annual school dinner dance, his presence and enthusiasm were always deeply appreciated by faculty,  students,  and parents!

Rosario was a small-craft licensed pilot and was still flying until his 82nd year. He was a member of The Quiet Birdsmen Club.

Family and friends will gather for a funeral mass in Rosario's memory  Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:30 am, held at St. Barbara Church, 2859 South Throop Street, Chicago, Illinois 60608. (773) 927-6424.
