Reverend James (Patrick) Galivan

Reverend James (Patrick) F. Galivan, long time companion of Jesus Christ and retired Chicago Archdiocesan priest; loving son of the late Bernard and late Dorothy; dear brother of Carol (Kenneth) Becker; fond uncle of Karen and Ken (Dana); great-uncle of Ryan, Troy, and Julian. A former CPS educator, UIC Hospital Chaplain, and since ordained into the priesthood in 1981, Rev. Galivan served at many Chicago area parishes, including St. Cletus, St. Mary of Perpetual Help, St. Andrew the Apostle, St. Lawrence O'Toole, Our Lady of Charity,and St.  Denis. Funeral Tuesday, August 16 at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1039 West 32nd Street. Visitation 9-10:00 am until 10:00 Mass. INT. Private.(773)927-6424.
