Patricia J. McNamara (nee Reidy)

May 21, 1935 - March 4, 2025

Devoted wife of Frank for 57 years; Loving and lucky mother of Frank (Beth Ellen), Beth (Joe) Donahue, Ann McNamara, Jerry (Dawn), Tim (Dawn),  Peter (Karen), and Kate McNamara (late Jeff  Grubaugh); Proud "Little Mia", "Grandma", "Grammy" and "Boomba" of Kevin, Sean, Joe, Pat, Tim, Connor, Bea, Jeremiah, Liam, Luke, Maura, Charlotte  Brendan, and Nora; Last surviving sibling of Joseph (Adele-Ethel), Dorothea (Peter) Gilligan, Edward (Dorothy), Gerald (Cynthia), Margaret (Dennis) Church, John (Mary) and Mary; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Patricia graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1957. After raising her children, she renewed her nursing certificate and cared for many patients during her career. She was especially proud of her work at Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County. Card shark, guerilla gardener, excellent baker, voracious reader and ambidextrous ping-pong player, Patricia will be missed greatly.

The family is incredibly grateful for the heartfelt care and compassion of the emergency room staff at Advocate Christ Hospital during Patricia's last hours.

A  celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
