Mildred (Millie)Bazan, (nee Jako), 99, of Chicago, IL passed away on February 6, 2017 in Vernon Hills, IL.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1039 W. 32 nd Street, Chicago, IL on February 11, 2017 from 9:45-11:15. Mass will follow at 11:30. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery, 8700 South Hamlin Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL.
Mildred was born in Chicago, IL to Marion and Catherine on October 17, 1917. Mildred had four brothers: John, Tony, George and Jack, one stepbrother: Leo and two sisters: Mary and Lou. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband and all of her siblings.
Mildred married Chester Bazan on May 2, 1938. They had three children: Robert (Rose) Bazan, Chester (Mary) Bazan and Denise Green. Chester and Mildred had four grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren and were married 75 years before Chester passed away.
Mildred enjoyed going to Senior Clubs and belonged to a number of them. As a member of the Senior Club at Wilson Park, Mildred became a “Hug-A-Bug.”
