Leona M. Fannin

Leona M. Fannin, nee Richter, beloved wife of the late Harold Fannin and the late William N. Johnston, Sr.; loving mother of William N. (Debbie) Johnston, Jr. and John "Jack" (late Jackie) Johnston; dear grandmother and great-grandmother; fond aunt , great-aunt, and friend of many. Leona was the daughter of the late John P. and late Eva Richter and the youngest of six siblings. She retired from the Chicago Board of Education and was a long time resident of the Chicago Bridgeport neighborhood and Oak Lawn. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10-11:00 am followed by an 11:00 mass of Christian burial at Rosary Hill Nursing Home, 9000 W. 81st Street, Justice, IL Interment will be private.
