Linda Hammersmith

Linda Hammersmith, age 56, of Chicago, IL passed away November 13th, 2020. She was born April 27, 1964 to Edward and Margaret Hammersmith. She always joked her birthday was August 15th so she could celebrate in warm weather!

Linda was with her loved one, Jim Scott, of 35 years, and had one daughter, Angela Scott (31). She is also survived by her sister Gloria (Frank) Piantek and two brothers, Terry (Emma) Hammersmith and Eddie Hammersmith. Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Alice (Melvin) Cook.

Linda loved her Cubbies, the friends of the community she worked for, and volunteering at BCA for ten plus years.

Visitation for Linda will be Sunday, November 15th, 2020 from 2-6:00 p.m. with a service at 4:00. Interment will be private.
