Judith M. Faifer

Judith “Judy” Faifer passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

She was born March 7, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Lorraine (nee Koss) Faifer.

A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Judy enjoyed retirement after serving over thirty years as a civilian fingerprint technician with the Chicago Police Department. She enjoyed working in her garden, loved animals, and spending time with family.

Judy is survived by her nieces and nephews Carrie (Viny) Blake, Cindy (John) Korso, Ed and Joe Faifer; great nephews Eric Blake, Viny and Benjamin Bajner; great-great nephew Andrew Blake; sister-in-law Patricia Blake, and several cousins and fond friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward W. Faifer.

Family and friends may gather in memory of Judy at Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Rd., Justice, IL 60458, on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 10 am. Service will conclude after interment at gravesite.
