Juan José Saenz
November 7, 1959 – December 24, 2020
Juan José Saenz, 61 years of age, passed away on December 24, 2020 at UIC Hospital after a month-long battle with Covid-19.
Juan was born November 7, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the late José and Elena Saenz. He was the third of five children.
Juan loved to spend time with family, chatting with friends and enjoying the company of his nephews and nieces. He was a charismatic storyteller, beloved partner, caring father, and a humorous friend. He was a die-hard Bears fan, he always cheered on the White Sox, and reminisced the glory days of Michael Jordan & the Bulls. He always checked-in on others, loved sharing life experiences & lessons, and dreamt of better futures for his children.
Juan leaves behind to cherish his meaningful memory his long-time partner, Elizabeth Kuziela; 10 children, Dominic, Nina, Erica, Marisa, Leticia, Lilliana, Laura, Joseph, Venicio, and Angelina; one grandchild, Elena; four siblings, Rufino, Neila, Martha and Hedilberto, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19 safety concerns, a private visitation for immediate family will be held at Pomierski & Son Funeral Home,1059 W 32nd St, Chicago, IL, on Saturday, January 2nd to reminisce, grieve, and support one another. A virtual viewing will be available from 10:30AM-11:30AM via YouTube for extended family and friends. Immediately following visitation, family and friends can participate in the procession from the funeral home or meet at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 87th St & Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL, at 12:30PM for the graveside ceremony.
