Estelle Damore (Burgess, Brizzolara) passed away September 9, 2020, in the company of her loving son and daughter in law, John and Caryn Burgess, after a long illness. Born in Berwyn, Illinois to Frank and Jean Damore, Estelle had a passion for family, travel and dining.

Following a decade-long and accomplished career at Loyola University Medical center, and anchored in her love of travel, she founded her own successful travel agency catering to group and corporate travel needs. Over the course of her professional life she maintained focus on being a single parent and providing a loving home for her son.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John F. Damore and Frank Damore, Jr., as well as many much-loved cousins and friends. Her body has been donated to science. Services pending. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lupus Society of Illinois at lupusil.org .
