David Brost, beloved husband of Elayne (nee Cavanaugh); father of James (Suzanne) and John (Fonda); loving Grandpa of Samantha, Valerie, Sophia, and Megan; brother of Judith (Carey) Songailo, the late Mary Ann Konow, and late Suzanne Moffat; uncle of many nieces and nephews. David was a lifelong parishioner of St. Barbara, as well as a handyman and woodworker. Family and friends will gather for visitation Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 10 am until an 11:00 funeral mass at St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta St. Barbara worship site, 2859 South Throop Street, Chicago.
