Barbara Luckey

Barbara Ann Luckey, nee Tynski, Born to this world March 22nd, 1956. After a long battle with cancer, she went to be with the lord on Friday January 8th, 2016.   Beloved daughter of the late Stanley Tynski and Josephine Ciolkosz Tynski. She is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Jennifer (Art Fonseca),  son Robert Jr, Granddaughter Madeline, sisters Cheryl (Raymond) Paschke, Catherine (Guy) Gasperetti and Joanne (Ronald) Hummel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephew, cousins and friends.

Barbara was a beautiful, kind hearted soul. She resided in Nashville, TN up until just shortly before her death, but was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She loved to read romance novels (she could read a book in a day), and she loved to bake. The thing she leaves us with is that she was always loving. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was proud of being a mother, but she was the most proud of becoming a grandmother. Her granddaughter was the final joy in her life. She brought light to a disease that left Barb in dark place.

Funeral services will be held at the Pomierski & Son Funeral Home on Monday January 11th, 2016, 3pm until 9pm, located at 1059 w 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608. Funeral mass Tuesday January 12th, at 9:30 am at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church 1039 w 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608.
