Ann Gauden

Ann H. Gauden, nee Tarasiewicz, beloved wife of the late Walter, was the loving mother of Maryann and Carol; dear godmother and aunt of Helen Gerlowski; fond sister of the late Casey, late Roman, and late Antoinette "Toni" (late Steve) Szafranski; aunt and friend of many.

Ann had just celebrated her 101st birthday in April! She loved  animals, working jigsaw puzzles and word search, and reading the daily newspaper up to one week ago. She had her last cup of Dunkin Donuts decaf coffee just two days ago. Ann was the Matriarch of her family, who always placed family first, and loved her fur babies.

Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2020 from 4-8:00 pm, with a 7 pm service, and Tuesday, May12, 9-11:00 am at Pomierski & Son Funeral Home, 1059 West 32nd Street, Chicago. Interment Tuesday Resurrection Cemetery.

Due to the CDC restrictions and guidelines, 10 people, 6 feet apart, will be permitted during the visitaion and burial. We thank you for your cooperation at this time. (773)927-6424.
